How many of you struggle like I do in remembering to give your dogs their monthly flea/tick/heartworm preventatives? I am terrible at it. Having the ProHeart injection in-house for once-a-year heartworm prevention is amazing, but you still have to remember to give the monthly flea and tick prevention.
Well … things have changed!
Bravecto has come out with a once-a-year injection for flea and tick prevention! This can be given with ProHeart! Now, you don’t have to remember anything but bringing your dogs in for their yearly exam, which can include vaccines and preventions in one visit! I am super excited about this!
Bravecto Quantum is an FDA-approved injectable medication that kills adult fleas as well as prevents flea infestations. It also controls tick infestations (black legged tick, American dog tick, and brown dog tick for 12 months and the Lone Star tick for eight months) in dogs and puppies 6 months and older.
This is a great product that I'm super excited to use and promote. Speaking of which:

It’s Senior September at Comer Vet!
